Carlos Lobo - Spanish Tutor

Introduction

Carlos is a seasoned language instructor and student advisor with a strong passion for helping students achieve their language learning goals.
Born and raised in M茅rida 鈥� Venezuela, he grew up in the city known for its vibrant student culture. He studied Hispano-American and Venezuelan Literature at the Universidad de Los Andes, and later pursued professional development studies at the University of Maryland 鈥� Baltimore and the University of Arizona.
Carlos began teaching at the young age of 19, but it was at 22 when he discovered his true passion for teaching languages. He spent several years as the Head of the French and English Department in one of Colombia's best private schools, which helped him develop a deep understanding of the educational process related to language learning. In 2017, he became a 抖阴视频 Spanish instructor and quickly excelled in his role, leading to a full-time position in early 2022.
Today, Carlos is fully committed to his role as a Student Advisor. With his extensive experience as professional language instructor, Carlos is well-equipped to help students get off to the right start when learning a new language helping ensure they achieve their goals.

Education

He studied Hispano-American and Venezuelan Literature in the University of Los Andes. He has studied teaching techniques with the University of Maryland-Baltimore and the US Embassy.To end, he has been preparing students for the DELE and TOEFL test for several years. To end, he has participated in many conferences focused on teaching nationally and internationally like TESOL International in Seattle

He loves dancing Salsa and cooking. In addition, he loves watching movies and TV series like "The Stranger things" and "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer". Walking outdoor and hanging out with friends are part of his free time activities.
