Introduction

Hello! My name is Ottavia, and I am a native speaker of Italian from Sicily, Italy!

I have a bachelor鈥檚 degree in film studies and a Erasmus Mundus Master degree in Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies.
I also have a diploma specializing in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language from the University for Foreigners of Siena.
I offer classes to students from 11 years and upward and have experience working with students from around the word in private as well as group classes.
I offer classes for Exam preparation (CILS) as well as specialized courses for College/University and tourists.
I am a very creative person so I always try to be creative with my students to experience interesting and amusing classes.
I love traveling and reading and I think that thanks to these two passions I deepened a sense of curiosity, interculturality and tolerance.
I am also very fascinated by languages, and I always challenge myself by learning new ones 鈥� Deutsch now!

Education

I did an extensive course to prepare to obtain the DITALS certification. I learned about the different techniques for teaching Italian as a second language, as well as different profiles of students and different styles of teaching.
