Yann Godbert - French Tutor

Introduction

My name is Yann Godbert. I am from France but I am now living in Mexico.
I have both a B.A. and a master's degree in ethnology from the University of Paris X Nanterre, France. I am a certified French teacher with 17 years of experience in classroom, from primary to university.
I have also 7 years of experience in individual or very small groups teaching French online courses with North American, European and Asian students of all ages and all levels. I'm certificated as a DELF-DALF examiner and two or three times a year; I participate in DELF-DALF sessions. I also worked in the "French Alliance" of Guanajuato (Mexico) where each grade is based on DELF-DALF levels.
I worked as guide in rural tourism, director of my own restaurant, and also for the local government in development planning. Actually I teach in University geographic's topics about Heritage, Agriculture and socio-environmental changes in the territory. I'm also the leader of a wildland firefighter brigade as a volunteer and work in projects about integral fire management.

Teaching style

My teaching method is always based on students' needs (grammar, conversation, etc.) and I can use various didactic supports: learning books, videos, pictures, games, etc. I try to adapt my lessons to the age and personality of my students.

Hobbies

I like to have a walk with my family and my dogs. Also to see good movies.

Teaching French as a second language since 2007.

I speak a total of 3 languages:
French (Native), Spanish (Advanced), English (Intermediate).
